Dear God, I’m praying for my husband, who is battling combat PTSD after retiring with 20 years serving in the Marines; then spiraling to self-medication, alcohol abuse, anger, and past trauma from childhood, & infidelity. After 24 years of marriage, we seek forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration. May he understand his self-worth, family’s love, and recognize God's purpose for him. I’m praying for our family's strength and faith as we overcome this path of healing together. Help him heal from abuse/ neglect wounds from his mother and the inner turmoil he developed during his life. I am asking for prayer warriors to intercede and pray for him to stop running away from his problems and fears, as well as become the great husband and dad to three children he was meant to be. May I ask the Lord to bring clarity of mind to be restored in my husband- that God releases the hardness in his heart, heals his health, spiritual life, and changes his perspective on life and the world. Help him to see all his transgressions as God sees them and quickly repent them. Lord, I ask that you please restore my husband, Thomas, to be the loving person he was meant to be for his family, who always puts his family first and makes Christ-like habits and decisions. I pray that my husband feels the love, peace, and hope from God that he has always searched for. My family has been going through spiritual warfare nonstop. I’m asking God to stop the enemy from using any weapons that it is using to destroy our family. Praying for God to break all evil chains, bonds, witchcraft, and curses someone put on us, either individually or our family as a whole. I acknowledge whatever jealousy, hurt, insults, and debt we sent to anyone, and I want to thoroughly take every single thing back. I sincerely send out heartfelt apologies and repent on behalf of all members of my family of five, begging for forgiveness from all of it. Also, asking in prayer to be delivered from evil strongholds- then living our lives for God anew. I’m reaching out because my husband, our three children, and I desperately need divine guidance and prayerful help from our brothers & sisters in Christ.
